System Surveyor has announced the general availability of its AI Notetaker, an AI-powered feature that captures discussions, observations, requirements and design notes during site surveys and collaborative planning sessions.

Previously available in public beta, AI Notetaker helps security integrators and technology managers convert customer conversations into draft statements of work or summaries that accompany system designs and proposals.

The feature is part of the broader System Surveyor platform, which allows users to import floor plans, place devices, make technology decisions, capture photos and produce system documentation within a shared workspace.

“Site surveys are the critical first step to a successful project,” said Chris Hugman, co-founder and CEO of System Surveyor. “AI Notetaker helps integrators capture and document real-time conversations more efficiently, reducing manual work and making it easier to carry critical project context forward into system design and project planning.”

Following the public beta, System Surveyor introduced usability enhancements, including the ability to copy AI-generated summaries to the clipboard and an improved audio-recording workflow when closing surveys. The updates are intended to make it easier for users to capture and reuse project information within their existing workflows.

AI Notetaker is now available to System Surveyor customers subscribed to the Scale, Corporate, Campus and Enterprise plans. The company said the feature helps teams reduce manual documentation and maintain a clearer record of project requirements from initial customer conversations through subsequent project stages.
