ELK Products Expands Alarm Engine Wireless Capabilities With New 345 MHz Receivers

ELK Products has introduced expanded wireless functionality for its Alarm Engine platform with the launch of the ELK-AERF3H 345 MHz Receiver and the ELK-AEXRFA3H 345 MHz Receiver & RF Bus Adapter. The new additions enable support for 345 MHz wireless sensors, providing installers with greater flexibility across a range of applications.

The ELK-AERF3H is an on-board wireless receiver designed specifically for the Alarm Engine, offering a streamlined method to integrate 345 MHz sensor support directly at the panel. For installations requiring broader coverage, the ELK-AEXRFA3H allows additional receivers to connect via the E27 data bus, enabling placement throughout a property.

The system supports up to four data bus-connected receivers, helping improve signal coverage and reliability. This approach is suited for larger homes or light commercial environments where consistent wireless performance is essential.

Both devices are compatible with a wide selection of 345 MHz wireless sensors, including Honeywell 5800 Series devices, MaxOut Technology 345 MHz sensors, and other manufacturers operating on the same frequency. This compatibility supports system takeovers and expands sensor options across intrusion, life safety, and environmental monitoring applications.
