Honeywell develops voltage evaluation tool for fire alarm circuits

New interactive tool available free of charge
Oct. 29, 2008

Honeywell Power Products recently announced the development of a new tool that helps technicians determine the voltage of a specific fire alarm’s notification appliance circuit or NAV.

According to a statement issued by the company, the voltage tool, which has been dubbed the HPP-CALC, is a free of charge program that allows fire alarm system designers the ability to easily optimize circuits using an interactive graphic interface rather than paper and pencil.

The HPP-CALC can work on any current Windows platform. To download the HPP-Calc or find out more information about the program, visit Honeywell Power Products’ Web site at www.honeywellpower.com.
