Signal jammers can disrupt wireless communications and disable security systems, a threat the AJV4 is designed to address through AI-based detection and multiple network connections.

SS&Si Dealer Network will distribute Telecom Design’s AJV4 Jamming Alarm to alarm dealers and integrators in North America under an agreement announced Oct. 7.

The standalone, battery-powered device is designed to detect signal jamming and contact a monitoring center independently of an existing alarm panel.

The companies cited growing use of signal jammers by criminals to disrupt wireless communications and disable security systems. According to the release, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reported in June 2025 that Customs and Border Protection had seen a roughly 830% increase in signal-jammer seizures since 2021.

“Security systems face a growing threat from signal jammers that bypass standard wireless communications,” said Christophe Arnaud, CEO of Bordeaux, France-based Telecom Design. “Partnering with SS&Si Dealer Network allows us to bring our patented AI jamming detection technology to security dealers across North America, providing their customers with an unprecedented layer of protection.”

The AJV4 requires no data or power cables. According to the companies, it can be mounted on a wall in minutes and used alongside existing security systems without a physical connection to or modification of the alarm panel.

The device uses machine learning algorithms trained on more than 10 years of field data to analyze the radio frequency spectrum, including cellular communications, the 915 MHz alarm band, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Telecom Design says it distinguishes between targeted-frequency and wideband noise jammers to select a communication bypass strategy.

The AJV4 uses multiple network connections to communicate through jammer noise within 30 seconds. It connects through cloud-to-cloud APIs or standard monitoring center interfaces.

“For years, our industry has focused on adding redundant communication paths to alarm systems. But if an attacker can disrupt those paths simultaneously, redundancy alone isn’t enough,” said Jake Voll, CEO of SS&Si Dealer Network. “AJV4 gives dealers an independent way to identify that attack and get the signal outside the premises.”

Voll said the device’s compatibility with existing systems and standalone setup allow dealers to add protection for residential and commercial customers.

Additional features include an LCD display showing active protection and built-in sensors that monitor temperature, humidity and air quality. The device also has a manual SOS emergency button.

Telecom Design specializes in wireless security technology, AI-driven spectrum analysis and anti-jamming protection. SS&Si Dealer Network distributes security, smart home and low-voltage products to independent security dealers and integrators.
