SimplexGrinnell Announces Strategic Alliance with Digitize, INC.

ORLANDO, FLA. -- SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco Fire & Security and a leader in fire and life-safety systems and service, today announces the establishment of a strategic alliance with Digitize, Inc. that strengthens its ability to deliver fully integrated customer solutions.

The alliance with Digitize, a world leader in proprietary fire and security alarm monitoring systems, is being announced at the ASIS International 2005 show in Orlando, Florida. By incorporating Digitize’s integrated alarm monitoring systems into its solutions, SimplexGrinnell will be able to offer a more complete solution to customers.

“The goal in working with Digitize is to enhance our ability to meet customer needs by providing complete, fully integrated fire and life-safety solutions,” says Steve Rawson, director of sales engineering at SimplexGrinnell. “Both companies share the same target market, as well as a “solutions” approach to serving customers. The focus will be on developing projects together. The customer solutions will be designed and implemented through the collaborative efforts of the sales and engineering teams from both companies.”
