Briscoe Protective and Integrated Security Group (ISG) the latest in a long string of 2022 acquisitions for the company

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has announced the acquisition of Briscoe Protective of New York from Novidam Capital Partners, as well as Integrated Security Group of Connecticut as part of Pye-Barker’s growing alarms division.

Briscoe Protective is the largest privately held security company in the NYC-Metro area, with customers throughout New York City's five boroughs, Long Island and Westchester. The company was honored as the second-fastest growing integrator by Security Business magazine in 2019

Founded in 1984, ISG services customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and greater New England.

Both integrators specialize in fire alarms, intrusion alarms, access control, and video surveillance.

Briscoe Protective CEO Alexander Schuil took the helm in 2016 and negotiated the acquisition and merger of Worldwide Security, SCAN Security, Bellringer Security, GC Alarm, Marlarm Security Group, Alarms R Us, and Supreme Security, among others. "This partnership with Pye-Barker will help us 'do more good' for the communities we serve and our employees," Schuil said in a statement. "With our shared values and philosophies and the additional resources from Pye-Barker, the future is bright together."

Schuil will continue to operate Briscoe Protective and its team of highly skilled technicians.

ISG’s leadership, including John McKenna, and its highly qualified security professionals, will continue to serve new and existing customers.

Since it launched its alarm divison by acquiring Mountain Alarm in December 2021, Pye-Barker has acquired eight security integration firms as a part of a massive expansion plan. They include: AlarmTec Systems, Yarnell Security Systems, Matson Alarm, Choice Security Services, B Safe Security and Complete Security Systems.
