Vector Security has appointed David G. Smith as chief financial officer, adding a veteran financial executive to its leadership team as the company emphasizes growth and operational discipline.
In his new role, Smith will oversee its financial strategy and operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, budgeting, treasury, capital allocation, risk management and banking relationships.
Smith brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience to the role. Most recently, he served as CFO at Protein Bar Holdings where he led financial strategy and value creation initiatives.
In a statement, President and CEO Pamela J. Petrow said Smith’s ability to align financial strategy with enterprise growth supports the company’s focus on disciplined growth, operational excellence and long-term value creation.
“As we focus on disciplined growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation, his leadership will play a critical role in supporting our strategic priorities, and positioning the company for continued success,” Petrow said.
Smith joins Vector Security as a member of its executive leadership team, with a mandate to help advance strategic priorities and position the company for continued growth.
