Atlanta-based guard services provider SecurAmerica announced on Thursday that its board of directors has chosen D. Timothy "Tim" Campbell to lead the company as its new CEO.

According to a statement, Campbell, who has also been named a board member, succeeds SecurAmerica Founder and Board Executive Chairman Frank Argenbright. The company said that Argenbright will focus on AirServ Corporation where he is also chairman of the board of directors.

Campbell has held executive positions in the business-to-consumer and business-to-business contract management services industries during his 25-year career, including the residential and commercial electronic security market. He also spent 12 years at the ARAMARK Corporation where he served as president of two of the organization’s operating companies.

Campbell is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a B.S. in agricultural engineering, as well as an M.S. in engineering.

"Tim brings to SecurAmerica a demonstrated track record of profitably growing multi-billion dollar contract management service businesses through innovation, new channel development, employee engagement and building client advocacy," said Argenbright.  "Tim will compliment our talented leadership team that includes President and Chief Operating Officer John Adams. This team is ready to propel SecurAmerica to unprecedented growth and success in the security industry."
