At GSX 2026, taking place Sept. 14-16 in Atlanta, Georgia, Milestone is giving attendees an early look at the upcoming BriefCam analytics platform. The company said the platform is built for the Generative AI era and is intended to help security teams move from manual video review toward faster investigations, real-time detection and analytics that can be adapted to operational needs.

The next-generation BriefCam platform will include natural language search by description, the ability to train its detection model and options for setting precise alerts. These capabilities are intended to help security teams turn witness statements into investigative leads and better understand interactions between people and objects.

“From solving incidents after the fact to keeping communities safer in real time – the next generation of BriefCam analytics can help organizations resolve cases sooner, stay ahead of incidents, and turn insights into actions in a way that supports their real-world operations,” said Tim Palmquist, Vice President, Americas, Milestone Systems.

Milestone will also demonstrate the latest advances to its XProtect open platform video management system, Arcules cloud VSaaS and XProtect Evidence Manager solutions. The company will highlight its responsible Vision AI work through Project Hafnia, described as the world's largest regulatory-compliant video data library, along with brighter AI anonymization technology.

Recent XProtect updates include automated scheduled reporting through XProtect Remote Manager, integration between video and access control through Axis Secure Entry for XProtect and expanded device support through the latest Device Pack. The Device Pack now verifies more than 16,300 camera and device models, according to Milestone.

The company said the updates extend to Arcules with expanded camera-to-cloud support and new long-term cloud storage options for hybrid and cloud-connected deployments.

Technology partners exhibiting with Milestone at GSX 2026 include FLIR, SWEAR, O-INSIGHTS and LenelS2.

Alongside its GSX presence, Milestone recently opened an Experience & Collaboration Center near Portland, Oregon. The facility gives end users a hands-on environment to explore the company's open platform, AI and analytics solutions through live product demonstrations as well as dedicated areas for strategy sessions and collaboration with the Milestone team.

“We want our customers and partners to see, touch, and test these tools for themselves, not just hear about them,” Palmquist said. “The new Experience & Collaboration Center gives end users a place to explore what's possible with an open platform approach, and we invite anyone attending GSX to learn more about visiting.”
