Acre Bridge: A Practical Path to Modern Access Control

Acre Security has announced the launch of Acre Bridge, a device designed to connect existing on-premises access control systems directly to Acre Access Control (AAC), enabling organizations to transition toward cloud-based security at their own pace.

The company plans to unveil Acre Bridge at ISC West 2026, positioning the device as a response to the widespread reality that most organizations operate in hybrid environments and cannot shift to the cloud immediately. By synchronizing people, devices, and events between existing controllers and AAC, Acre Bridge allows organizations to operate legacy and cloud-native systems in parallel during the transition. This approach enables continued use of established infrastructure while introducing capabilities such as mobile credentials and centralized remote management.

The launch reflects Acre Security’s broader strategy to support modernization without disrupting existing operations. According to the company, the direction was shaped by partner feedback emphasizing the need for flexibility and a clearer path to long-term growth.

“Last year was about listening and defining our direction forward,” said Kumar Sokka, CEO of Acre Security. “Our partners want modernization without disruption and a clearer path to long-term growth. Acre Bridge delivers that flexibility, and now our focus is execution — simplifying how we work together and enabling partners and customers to modernize with confidence.”

Alongside the product launch, Acre Security is introducing updates to its global partner program aimed at supporting hybrid and cloud-driven business models. Enhancements include integration of RevCloud into the partner portal to streamline quoting and ordering, as well as a revised program structure designed to better align incentives, resources, and tiers with evolving partner needs. The company is also offering dedicated market development funds for qualified partners.

Acre’s broader strategy centers on a unified security portfolio built around Acre Access Control. The platform integrates access control, intrusion, visitor management, and video capabilities into a single solution, while continuing to support established on-premises systems that remain integral to hybrid deployments.

Acre Bridge will be demonstrated at booth #23015 during ISC West.
