Gentex Launches New Ceiling Mount Speakers and Speaker-Strobes

Zeeland, MI - Gentex Corporationâ€™s Fire Protection Products Group today announced the introduced of the SSPKCLP Series low profile, ceiling mount, selectable candela speaker and speaker strobe. The SSPKCLP Series is a neodymium speaker that offers dependable evacuation signaling and visual alarms that meet ADA and NFPA requirements for audio, visual and voice communications. Available in a red or white faceplate, the SSPKCLP Series mounts to a standard 2 1/8" deep back box and carries a three year warranty.

The Gentex SSPKCLP Series offers tamperproof candela selections of 15, 30, 75, 95 and 115. The frequency range on the SSPKCLP is 400-4000Hz. The SSPKCLP Series strobes can be synchronized using the Gentex Synchronization Module.

The SSPKCLP provides 25 or 70.7 VRMS speaker and with field selectable power taps of 1/8W, 1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, 2W or 4W.

The units are UL 1480 and UL 2043 listed as well as UL 464 and UL 1971 listed for use with fire protective signaling systems.
