In the June 4 Keynote Luncheon, Ryan Leak provide a valuable message about leadership and inspiring others in his talk, “Leveling Up: Tools to Help You Lead Yourself Better and Inspire Others.”

In the June 5 general session, former NFL running back Justin Forsett delves deep into the intricacies of guiding teams through dynamic circumstances in his presentation, “The Huddle and The Hustle: Leading Teams Through Change, Adversity and Opportunity.”

The OpenXChange Breakfast on June 4 provides attendees with an opportunity to encounter forward-thinking leaders that will help the audience reassess the trajectory of both the industry and their individual businesses. Visionaries will challenge attendees to reimagine the business of security in the future and share more about disruptive technologies and emerging trends.

Moderated by ESX Chairman George DeMarco, the expert panelists will be David Selinger, Co-Founder and CEO of Deep Sentinel; Dean Drako, Founder & CEO of Eagle Eye Networks, and Marty Guay, Vice President of Business Development for Stanley Black & Decker.

On Tuesday, Paul Rothman, Editor-in-Chief of Security Business magazine, will be moderating the ESA Central Counterpoint Session, “Exploring the Shifting Landscape of Residential Security.”

Participants will explore the evolution of residential security, considering traditional alarm dealers, emerging technologies, and the rise of DIY solutions. This session is slated from 3-4 p.m. at ESA Central Booth 513.

  • Celebrate Kirk MacDowell at ESA’s Weinstock Award Celebration June 5 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Derby City Gaming. MacDowell, President of MacGuard Security Advisors, is the esteemed recipient of the 2023 Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year Award. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals who exemplify extraordinary dedication and leadership in advancing the electronic security and life safety industry.

  • Holly Borgmann, Vice President of Government Affairs at ADT, will be the recipient of the Sara E. Jackson Award for 2024. This prestigious accolade recognizes individuals who exemplify extraordinary leadership and dedication in advancing the electronic security and life safety industry. Holly will be awarded at with a presentation that will take place on the Main Stage prior to the opening keynote at 11:30 a.m. 
  • The Foundation for Advancing Security Technology (FAST) will formally recognize the winners of the 2024 Security Technician of the Year Awards in a Main Stage presentation on June 6 at 11:45 a.m.
