Physical security integrator scDataCom has been ranked No. 2,177 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, marking the company’s fifth consecutive appearance on the annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

The company’s latest ranking reflects 155% three-year revenue growth. According to scDataCom, achieving five consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 is a milestone reached by fewer than 1% of companies that have ever appeared on the list.

“This year, scDataCom was recognized on the Inc. 5000 list again, coming in at #2,177,” said Kathleen Ford, CEO and Co-Owner of scDataCom. “As I reflect on this, what strikes me most isn’t the ranking — it’s how hard it is to keep growing year after year.”

Ford said continued growth becomes more challenging as a company’s revenue base expands and noted that maintaining momentum requires ongoing adaptation.

“Growth isn’t a straight line, and it’s never easy breezy,” Ford said. “It’s continuous risking, learning, adjusting, and trusting.”

Five Years of Recognition

scDataCom first appeared on the Inc. 5000 in 2022 at No. 3,693. The company ranked No. 4,533 in 2023, No. 1,134 in 2024 and No. 1,020 in 2025 before reaching No. 2,177 in 2026.

The 2026 Inc. 5000 recognizes 5,000 companies across industries including AI, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, consumer products and professional services. The companies on this year’s list recorded a median three-year revenue growth rate of 130% and collectively added more than 627,208 jobs to the U.S. economy over the past three years.

“Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still,” said Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance — it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact.”

The 2026 Inc. 5000 companies are ranked based on percentage revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022. They must also be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent as of Dec. 31, 2025.

Inc. will recognize the honorees at the 2026 Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala, scheduled for Oct. 14-16 in Dallas, Texas. The top 500 companies will also be featured in the Fall issue of Inc. Magazine.

“Five years on the Inc. 5000 is something we’re proud of, yet a reminder that we’re still just getting started,” Ford said.
