Boon Edam Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the Boon Edam Security Integrator Certification Program.
The new training program provides video tutorials and other learning materials necessary for security integrator technicians to understand the working principles, safe operation, access control and fire systems integrations, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures related to Boon Edam optical turnstiles.
“The new Boon Edam Security Integrator Certification Program formalizes training on a variety of our secured entry solutions, effectively reinforcing our commitment to the continued education of our security integrator partners and end-user customers”, said Valerie Currin, President and Managing Director, Boon Edam. “ISC West is the ideal place to announce this program as we continue to see an increase in demand for heightened physical security solutions at critical entry points to and within organizations. This program provides peace-of-mind to our end user customers while simultaneously helping our system integrator partners leverage our products to build new revenue streams.”
The Security Integrator Certification Program consists of short, in-depth videos covering many topics regarding the installation, service, and maintenance of Boon Edam optical turnstile products. The instruction is accompanied by short evaluations that allow technicians to move further through the program. Once competence is shown, technicians will obtain a digital certification that will follow the technician. In the event that a technician leaves within six months of the training, Boon Edam will provide a credit for a replacement training for another technician.
The Security Integrator Certification Program will provide four program concentrations to best accommodate systems integrators’ specific needs and budgets. An integrator may choose one, two, or all three disciplines according to their market focus:
Course 1 – Lifeline Speedlane Swing Optical Turnstiles
Course 2 – Circlelock Solo
Course 3 – Tourlock 180
Course 4 - Turnlock
Course 1 is currently available to take online and at the technician’s own pace. It is expected that the total required time to complete this training is 3-4 hours. Courses 2-4 will be available later this year.
