UDT Names Partner in Manufacture of its Anthrax Detectors

UDT selects optical technology developer Horiba Jobin Yvon to produce the fluorescence modules for UDT anthrax detectors

Universal Detection Technology (UDT) has chosen specialty optics company Horiba Jobin Yvon to produce the spectrometer fluorescence modules used in UDT's BSM-2000 anthrax detectors

Horiba Jobin Yvon, which has R&D facilities in New Jersey and France, was credited by UDT as having the leading technology in the diffraction gratings and optical spectroscopy that will be used in the anthrax detection equipment.
