ZBeta Names Sergio Delgado Research Operations Manager

Former Genetec technical account management leader Sergio Delgado will support research execution, operational workflows and technology evaluation efforts within ZBeta’s LabZ innovation program.

ZBeta has appointed Sergio Delgado as research operations manager to support the continued growth of LabZ, the company's initiative focused on innovation, technology evaluation and collaborative experimentation.

In his new role, Delgado will help drive research execution, streamline operational workflows and support the evaluation of emerging technologies within LabZ. According to the company, his experience working with enterprise customers and managing complex security implementations will help strengthen the program's ability to translate research into practical outcomes.

"Sergio brings a strong operational mindset and a deep understanding of how security systems perform in real environments," said Hash Salehi, director of technology and innovation at ZBeta, in a statement. "His experience working closely with customers and leading teams will play an important role in helping LabZ scale its research efforts and deliver meaningful, actionable insights."

Delgado joins ZBeta from Genetec, where he most recently served as technical account manager team lead. The company said he managed a team supporting enterprise customers, maintained a 100% renewal rate and focused on delivering outcomes through customer partnerships and continuous improvement. His background also includes solutions engineering, field engineering and project management roles.

Prior to his technology career, Delgado served in the United States Marine Corps.
